For over 20 years Orbit DVD has been dedicated to being a space for physical media and we have built a solid reputation for providing movies of all types across the globe. While being a movie store has become our biggest identity, there has always been more to our store than just movies.
Video games have always been a part of our identity. In those early days, our video game section was small and tucked away with some games even being stuffed into bins on the floor! Then in early 2020 a certain event gave us the opportunity to expand our modest little game setup. It was our first Game Section remodel, we transformed our back room into a haven for physical video games! It was amazing to watch what was a small part of our personality grow and flourish. Now, several years down the line, our game section has undergone its most intensive overhaul yet. After fully remodeling our physical storefront once again, we have finally launched our dedicated Video Game Website!
Now that we’ve grown into having our own online space we strive to run a user friendly, competitively priced storefront where you can find rare gems AND the more common games you all know and love. In the midst of online subscriptions, we love the security that comes with owning your media– whether that be movies OR video games. That’s why one of the biggest parts of our business is preowned games! We constantly buy from the community through our trade-ins in-person and online through our trade form.
A huge part of our business is preowned games and consoles. We’re constantly buying product through trade-ins, whether that be in person or through our online trade form.
Along with prioritizing preowned product, we are still committed to more recent releases as well. New releases are also something that we carry and we are constantly trying new distribution channels to try to get brand new titles as soon as we can.
All of this has been possible because of our small but dedicated staff working at Orbit DVD Games. They are all invested in video games and each of their individual tastes help to influence as well as enhance everything Orbit DVD Games strives to do.
Thank you for supporting the store and what we do, which is preserving physical media.
